Slow down, take a deep breath, and notice the beauty around you!
Slow down, take a deep breath, and notice the beauty around you!

I don't believe you are here by accident. I've been caring for people for over 35 years, 25+ years as a registered nurse. I know this about you. You are probably "running on empty" like we all tend to do, most, if not all, of the time. The majority of women in our society work outside the home 40+ hours a week, then come home to tend children, do laundry, make dinner, clean up the kids and the kitchen, then prepare for the next day. Then we just want to go to bed. Husbands also work, but somehow always have "energy" for you after the kids are finally to bed and you have your sleep mask on.

I don't know about you, but I didn't have the energy for anything else at the end of the day and struggled to get up the next morning, especially if I was sleep deprived from babies, illness, or a child/dog/cat puking in the night. Showering, a necessity, was often rushed as someone always needed something. Taking a long bath, shaving my legs, or getting a haircut was almost a vacation. I felt like I wore to many hats and those hats were stacked on my head. I was a wife, mother, nurse, doctor, cook, homework monitor, errand runner, and dryer of tears, including my own. I barely had any time for myself and I was overwhelmed and soon I was overweight, felt lousy, and I became very critical of myself and everything and everyone in my life.

I tried counseling and doctors. They only medicated me. No cure, no path to real wellness. Then I found coaching and I found someone who would listen to me, pray with me, and support me without judgement. I set goals, struggled and failed. I reset them, struggled some more, and started seeing small but important wins. I found purpose and a new identity, both of which helped me get centered, set boundaries, and allowed me to fill my cup before I could fill all the other cups in my life. I changed my life and I became a coach. Coaching impacted my life so much that I wanted to do the same for other women. Our lives, thoughts and emotions are complicated and we need a support person, like a coach, to help us navigate our lives.

So, I invite you to try coaching. Someone who will listen to you, pray with you, and support you without judgement. There are no guarantees that your life will become perfect, but I can truthfully say it will change your life for the better! So, take a deep breath, take a leap of faith and allow me to show you the beauty within yourself! You were created for wholeness!
